here's the rest of my felt vegetables!
they were so fun to make...i blogged about beginning this project here.
all from this book: cute fruit and vegetables made of felt; more info here.
i wove a felt basket for them. i will post a tutorial for how to make the basket later this week, when i am making one for a different project...
i finished these last month, for a gift, and seeing these photos again makes me want to make even more!
Ohh, they're so great! :D You could just eat them!

ReplyDeleteoh yum! It' s incrediblw how close to the real thing they are!
ReplyDeleteThese are great! I have this book too, but haven't yet completed anything from it. You did wonderfully with these projects.
ReplyDeleteHi! I have this book and was going to get started but I can't figure out if the pattern pieces are full size or if I need to enlarge them. Would you mind telling me what you did? Maybe the food is smaller than I'm picturing? Specifically, I was going to start with the carrot and the pattern pieces seem tiny. Thanks!
ReplyDeletethe patterns are intended to be used as they are, with no enlargement.
ReplyDeletei wondered the same thing when i first started using the book, but after i realized that the felt vegetables are slightly smaller than actual vegetables, i really liked the size and how they turn out.
Thanks! Which makes sense for small children, too. Can't wait to get started this weekend!
